The story Cara sent me...
Both are siSwati words from eSwatini (formerly Swaziland).
Badzeshi - A word for 'English speakers'.It comes from the verb kudzesha which means 'to speak one language'. I love this word because of how it sounds but also because it is kind of cheeky. It is slightly making fun of English speakers in eSwatini who historically (and today) usually only speak one language which makes them quite different to most southern Africans who speak a few.
Sinikiniki - the siSwati term for a fool. I just love how this sounds and how it feels to say it.
